Thank you for your interest in the Malaysia Web Award. It is important that ALL the criteria and related pages be read completely if you wish to succeed in your Malaysia Web Award application. These pages contain IMPORTANT information for your application.
There are four Awards to be won; Excellent, Gold, Diamond and Platinum. Please read the following mandatory requirements very carefully before submitting your site. Specific score requirements for different awards are listed in the respective Award Criteria Page.

Mandatory Requirement:

• You must be 13 or older to apply for awards. If you are younger than 13, have a parent or guardian apply for you;
  

• No adult, gambling, hate, crack, discrimination, violence and other illegal content;
  

• Contents’ credibility;
• A Copyright Notice must be included in the site unless all the material used in your site are your own work;
  

• No "under construction" statements (a good site is always under construction);

• No bandwidth stealing under any circumstance, all images must work and must be stored on your server;
  

• No horizontal scrolling with resolution: 800 x 600 pixels;
  
• No internal and/or external links to unsuitable sites;
  

• No more than 2 advertising banners per page;

• No more than 2 pop up and/or pop under ads per site;

• Enter this word "MWA" in the "Descriptions / Comments" area of the submission form, we will know you have read the criteria carefully;
  

• Background music must have a turn-off option.
